This pilot program—created to enhance public access along the Chattahoochee—was successfully completed by Excellere Construction. The $3.2 million project delivered 2,400 feet of concrete pavers, 2,400 feet of colored exposed aggregate concrete, granite edging, and nearly 500 feet of elevated boardwalk featuring an overlook deck. To mitigate flooding risks, sections of the trail were elevated through precise grading and structural reinforcement. Advanced construction methods were used throughout, resulting in a durable, high-quality path designed for safe and enjoyable walking, running, and biking.
